European AccommodationsWhere to stay need not be a concern in Europe. Choices include hotels, bed and breakfasts, or short-term vacation or holiday rentals. In some countries, you can stay on a farm or reserve a private room through a tourist office. You can rent a guesthouse or hotel, which range from budget accommodations to five-star suites. In other countries, you may be able to rent sleeping quarters in a lighthouse or a boat. Camping is also a popular activity in Europe, but you need to be careful where you camp. In some countries, it's illegal to park your RV by the side of the road or pitch a tent in a forest, so make sure to check local regulations before camping or finding an authorized campground. You can obtain camping information and directories from national tourist offices. England has choice hotels or bed and breakfasts close to all of their major attractions from Abbotsbury to Winchester Cathedral. Visit the Wingfield Castle or one of the many castles in England and stay in inexpensive or luxury hotels close by. Lake District Hotels
